New website for innovative leading financial institution
CLS Group is a leading financial institution in the FX currency sphere, and have been a valued client of Moore-Wilson for a number of years, since inheriting their previous website.
THE BRIEF:
The brief from CLS Group centered around the following key areas:
- Aligned to new brand guidelines and using strong imagery
- A new careers section
- Revised site navigation to improve user journeys and overall digital experience and providing strong CTAs (call to actions)
- Integration with a third party CRM
- Advanced versioning and permissions functionality
- Bespoke internal reporting system
The site was built in the latest version of Umbraco, which is a powerful open source CMS based on .net and allows for easy editing of content, something that was important to the client.
"THE PROJECT:
We scoped and specified the new site for CLS Group while running a number of internal and external workshops and heatmaps and defined the UX in terms of user journeys and navigation.
We also undertook an extensive content mapping excised to ensure that the correct content was automatically migrated.
The site was built in the latest version of Umbraco, which is a powerful open source CMS based on .net and allows for easy editing of content, something that was important to the client.
The project had a very tight timescale and a set deadline for launch, which required very efficient and hands on project management and engagement from the client as well, quickly overcoming any blockers and efficient decision making.
Despite the tight schedule, testing was a crucial part of the project and it followed a rigorous test plan.
THE RESULTS:
We are pleased to say that the website launched on time, and the client is delighted with the result. The new website offers a great platform for future development as it has been built with scalability and flexibility in mind.
The website continues to be supported and hosted by Moore-Wilson.
