Alpha Bank London serves clients across the UK and internationally, offering bespoke financial solutions tailored to a high-value audience. As part of their growth strategy, they recognised the need for a more modern, design-led digital presence that would better reflect the quality of their offering and compete with challenger brands such as Monzo, Vanguard and Revolut.

The existing website no longer aligned with the direction of the business, particularly with new products being introduced to market. This project represented phase one of a wider digital roadmap, so it was essential that the new site not only delivered immediate impact, but also provided a scalable foundation for future expansion.

Alongside visual improvements, Alpha Bank London wanted to elevate the user experience through richer content. This included a strong emphasis on imagery and video to better communicate their premium positioning, as well as improved access to key information, particularly around security and fraud, which remains a critical area for their audience.

Following a detailed scoping phase, we worked closely with Alpha Bank London to redefine the site architecture and ensure it aligned with both current and upcoming product offerings. This involved restructuring key areas of the website to improve usability, while also creating a flexible framework that could evolve alongside the business.

From a design perspective, the focus was on delivering a premium, contemporary experience. We introduced a clean, modern interface supported by high-quality imagery, video content, and subtle animated elements to bring the brand to life. As part of this process, we sourced all visual assets to ensure consistency and alignment with the target audience.

A key part of the build was developing a modular design system within Drupal. This allows the Alpha Bank team to create and manage pages with complete flexibility, using interchangeable content blocks that work seamlessly across desktop and mobile. Alongside this, we introduced a dedicated Security & Fraud Hub and an intuitive Help Centre, making it easier for users to access important information quickly.

The new Alpha Bank London website delivers a more refined and competitive digital presence, aligning the brand with leading fintech platforms. The updated design, supported by high-quality visuals and animation, creates a stronger first impression and a more engaging user experience.

The modular build has given the Alpha Bank team greater flexibility to manage and evolve their content, while improved site structure and features such as the Security & Fraud Hub and Help Centre make key information easier to access.

We also introduced automated functionality to streamline internal processes, including daily PDF updates and a secure multi-step Home Loan form, reducing manual effort and improving operational efficiency.
