Requirement:

The Freedoms Shop is a sexual health promotion initiative that is run by the Central and North-West London NHS Foundation Trust. As part of the initiative Freedoms supply many NHS trusts and GPs in the UK with high quality products at low prices. Moore-Wilson was asked to create a new bespoke e-commerce site for Freedoms that would improve the service and increase sales. As the main function of the website is e-commerce, security for user data (e.g. credit card details) was a key aspect of the project. In addition to building a new website for Freedoms, Moore-Wilson was also tasked with developing the new brand for Freedoms including redesigning the product packaging.

Solution:

Moore-Wilson have previously worked on a number of NHS projects so we were well equipped with the skill and experience required for this project. The resulting Freedoms website is clear and user-friendly, with distinct user pathways through the website. We updated the site architecture to direct users to relevant products and improved the payment system by incorporating PayPoint and 3D Secure functionality. To improve the order processing system for Freedoms we integrated the site database with a fulfilment company to make sure that every order is processed within minutes.

To promote the new site we developed an online and offline marketing campaign to increase awareness and sales. Better coordination of their social media presence encouraged new visitors and highly advanced reporting tools were built into the CMS. Sales have increased by over 1,000% since launch.
