Middle Temple, situated at the heart of London overlooking the Thames, is one of the four ancient Inns of Court, with detailed architecture and a majestic atmosphere that survived both the Great Fire of London and the World Wars. Its core functionality is to educate and accommodate those practising or training in the law, however unbeknownst to most it serves as an event venue for weddings and galas to board meetings and corporate dining.
Middle Temple wanted to translate its prestige and design to their venue site, and worked with Moore-Wilson to promote their event capabilities as opposed to their barrister’s practise. In doing so, we were asked to give a facelift to the venue hire site to generate interest and leads.
Moore-Wilson was tasked with overhauling their site, and started initially by upgrading the CMS to Drupal 8 from a previous version. This enabled a greater functionality and aesthetic options to make the site easier and more appealing for customers to use and navigate.
One key change was to implement the capacity planner to increase event traffic. It showcased each individual room, its capacity, hire charges and room dimensions with calls to action throughout, linking to the relevant room page. Additionally, a photo gallery promoting the classic beauty of each room was created to promote the venue and show off what the venue has to offer.
