Website rebuild with online branding toolkit for international non-profit

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit, multi-stakeholder organisation established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. It runs a global forest certification system with two key components - forest management and chain of custody - and licenses retailers and other end users to promote FSC labelled products, without holding FSC certification.

FSC required a rebuild of an internal site for marketers to gain information and imagery to assist with strict branding and copyright guidelines.

Moore-Wilson rebuilt their existing internal system using Drupal 8, set up with a log in to ensure security and privacy. Once logged in, users were presented with the marketing toolkit that included branding, content, imagery and trademarks that were available to download to use on all marketing efforts. This was essential for FSC due to their strict brand guidelines, as their logo allows customers to identify, purchase and use wood, paper and other forest products from well-managed forests and/or recycled materials.

The site was built with search and downloading functionality, with a flexible content layout system that enables FSC to continuously build pages for their ever-growing content. Additionally, due to the range of FSC office locations, multilingual features were created for Chinese, Spanish and English speaking users.
