Salary: £19,000 - £24,000

Our team of Search Marketing specialists is seeking an individual with Search/Digital Marketing experience to join them in their Salisbury office. This role will mostly comprise of work on SEO and PPC campaigns, and web analytics consultancy, for clients across a wide range of sectors.

 

The successful candidate will ideally have at least 2 years’ Search Marketing experience working either in-house or in an agency role. This experience will include search engine optimisation (SEO) while PPC experience would also be useful. The role will involve a degree of campaign management, which will include planning and managing campaigns, reporting on progress, and communicating with clients via email, phone and face-to-face.

  • Search Marketing Experience, including SEO
  • Client Communication – The ability to build relationships with business clients, realistically manage their expectations, explain methods and theories in simple terms and clearly communicate progress
  • Teamwork & Communication – The ability to communicate the work being carried out, its stumbling blocks, and results to other team members, both face-to-face and via internal systems. The ability to work productively with colleagues in other teams who possess very different skillsets
  • Self-Management – The ability to organise and prioritise one’s own workload effectively whilst dovetailing with other team members
  • Attention to Detail – The ability to ensure high levels of accuracy and quality in one’s own and others’ work (particularly vital when making changes to websites and when directly spending client money, e.g., via paid advertising)
  • Problem Solving/Initiative – The ability to understand the desired end result of a task and plot the best (most efficient and effective) course to that end
  • Data Analysis – The ability to identify pertinent trends within data, using an awareness of basic statistics
  • Creativity – The ability to generate new ideas that will help promote clients’ websites based on their particular business needs
  • Copywriting – The ability to write engagingly about new subjects whilst displaying good grammar
  • MS Office (to an intermediate level) – Particularly Excel, but also Word and Outlook (PowerPoint may be beneficial)
  • Self-Development – The ability, and desire, to identify and address areas of potential development in one’s own skillset – requesting assistance from colleagues and management where necessary
