The UK Covid Vaccine Research Hub, is a brand new website designed to raise awareness of the immense contribution of UK scientists to the development and understanding of vaccines for COVID-19. It was created by the British Society for Immunology (BSI) and hosts a range of resources and information for researchers, policy makers and the general public.
This site would act as an online portal that would provide up-to-date information for researchers about Covid vaccinations.

Despite the fast pace of the project, all stages of the website went through a thorough testing cycle and the new site launched in early November.
"The scope of work and timelines were agreed upon during an efficient scoping and design phase. As BSI already had a number of Drupal sites, it was keen to have the new site built in Drupal 9.
The site was built quickly so that BSI could start adding all of the new content, while some sections were still being developed. Despite the fast pace of the project, all stages of the website went through a thorough testing cycle and the new site launched in early November.

The site is incredibly fast and provides a very high lighthouse score in terms of accessibility, performance and best practices, all of which was important to BSI.
