New website that showcases the uniqueness and excellence of the Spine building
The Spine is the Royal College of Physicians' northern home and the healthiest building in the North West. Also known as the 'giraffe building', The Spine owes its name to the striking staircase on its north elevation, which resembles the human vertebrae and connects 14 floors of offices, public areas, and spaces for events and conferences. Wellbeing and sustainability are at the core of the building's design.
THE BRIEF:
Royal College of Physicians have been a long standing client of Moore-Wilson, and we recently built and launched the main RCP Events site.
RCP were keen to use some of the functionality and UX from the main Events site, whilst also ensuring that the different ethos and design of the Spine building shone through on the new website.
The website had to be easy to navigate with a clear user journeys as well as being visually appealing with relevant content.
Moore Wilson were a pleasure to work with, they are friendly, approachable and worked quickly and efficiently to meet the pre agreed deadlines. With their help and guidance, we now have a spectacular website that we are very proud of
"THE PROJECT:
The website was built in Craft CMS and once the core elements were built and most of theme applied, the client was trained in how to start adding content to the site. The site was then completed alongside the content population.
The website was also built with accessibility and performance in mind, aiming for high Google Lighthouse scores.
THE RESULT:
Spaces at The Spine is the new destination for events in Liverpool and the website showcases its ethos and focus on sustainability and technical excellence. Users can also easily find practical information about the venue as well as capacity planners and event services.
