My Health My Way

A confidential space for people working in health and social care to look after their wellbeing and find support

HWE (Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Systems) who has been a client for a number of years and already has a portfolio of websites with us, came to us in partnership with Suffolk and North east Essex Integrated care Systems) and wanted to develop a Wellbeing Hub, to support the wellbeing of their health and social care staff.

THE BRIEF:

The client wanted to create a hub where their staff can log in to access a range of resources to support their wellbeing.

As the client already had a portfolio of websites built in Laravel Statamic, they wanted to stay with this, as their teams were already trained in this. Furthermore Statamic offers a secure and stable foundation for a member site/extranet.

The brief stated that they wanted to develop a confidential space for people working in health and social care to look after their wellbeing and find support.

  • Find local in-person support for a range of health and wellbeing topics
  • Get instant access to free webinars, online classes, articles, podcasts, and more
  • Achieve lasting lifestyle changes with action plans and one-to-one virtual support from a behavioural coach

THE PROJECT:

Following our presentation to the relevant stakeholders we were appointed to build the new site

We scoped and specified the new site for HWE while running a number of internal and external workshops and defined the UX in terms of user journeys and navigation.

It was important to the client that the site was quick to load and would work well on all devices including mobiles. Once you are logged in, there are a number of interactive tools for staff to access, and these were specified and prototyped in detail.

It was also important for the client that the site had a sophisticated backend moderation system, so that staff could sign up themselves and then the relevant people would be notified to approve the registrations.

The site was built in the latest version of Statamic, which is a powerful open source CMS based on the Laravel PHP framework.

THE RESULT:

We are pleased to say that due to the careful upfront planning of the site, the project went without a hitch and launched on time.

The website has been incredibly well received by staff and the client is already planning on a number of additional features to be added to the site.

The website continues to be supported and hosted by Moore-Wilson.
