Vodafone is the world’s largest mobile phone company, measured by revenues. The Vodafone Foundation asked us to build a new video player for them, to make it much easier to quickly find video sequences conveying the achievements of their charitable giving. We decided that it would make sense for the video player to work in much the same way as can be found on the BBC and ITV sites as users are now familiar with this very successful approach.  

We set up a streaming service to ensure that the videos would play quickly and although we built the new system in HTML5 we incorporated functionality to automatically switch to a video Flash player for older browsers. Finally, we also created the new branding for ‘Mobile For Good’ which has been very popular.
