The idea behind make-up-professional.com was to fill a gap in the market by uniting make-up artists, suppliers, employers and course providers in one online portal. Make-up artists can have a powerful online presence by creating professional portfolios; Employers can post their latest vacancies and these will be emailed out to those registered job seekers on the site; Suppliers and beauty course providers have access to a highly targeted audience of beauty industry professionals.

Moore-Wilson where thrilled to be involved in such a forward thinking project in such a highly style conscious market. The graphic design elements of the site had to match the cutting edge remit provided by the client.

The project required the creation of a bespoke CMS system that allows users to create their portfolios. Graduates of the make-up and beauty schools can use a variety of elements on their portfolio pages including: text, photos and video uploading. We even developed bespoke video conversion software that allows users to upload video in a variety of formats.
