Witan was established in 1909 and is the UK’s only fully multi-managed investment trust. The multi-manager approach that Witan takes means that each portion of the portfolio has a specialist fund manager who is the best in that area and most likely to generate good returns for Witan investors. Moore-Wilson has a long working relationship with Witan and we have undertaken a variety of campaigns and projects for them. These projects have ranged from web design and development to advertising and marketing campaigns.

 

Solution:

As we have worked closely with Witan for more than ten years we have a strong understanding of the Witan brand and products. This understanding, coupled with knowledge of the FSA, has enabled our design team to deliver effective strategic banner advertising campaigns as well as providing advice and guidance on other design led projects. As well as building the main Witan website, we have also created a number of microsites for different aspects of the trust. These microsites are tailored to different products and interests and make information quickly available without detracting from the broader main messages on the main site. The core Witan website is highly dynamic and makes use of financial feeds, blogs and videos.

We have also been responsible for all the Witan search marketing campaigns for a number of years. We use both on-page and off-page techniques to ensure that the site is found for relevant financial phrases. We have also undertaken a critical SEO and PPC campaign that promoted Witan’s Junior ISA campaign in advance of its launch, ensuring that they were found before their competitors.
